Green houses are climate controlled and are used for variety of applications, the majority being, off-season growing of vegetables, floriculture, planting material , fruit crop growing etc .

Sterling Green Houses are built of a G.I. structure wherein crops are grown under a favorable artificially controlled environment and other conditions viz. temperature, humidity, light intensity, photo period, ventilation, soil media, disease control, irrigation, Fertigation and other agronomical practices throughout the season irrespective of the natural conditions outside.

In conventional Agronomical practices, the crops are being grown / cultivated in the open field under natural conditions where the crops are more susceptible to sudden changes in climate , yield of a particular crop can get affected and may be decreased.

Sterling Green Houses are available in different sizes and constructed as per customer requirement. The sizes vary from as small as 100 Sq. M to 10,000 Sq M and more.

The degree of sophistication also varies from a simple polyhouse with polythein sheet covering to highly sophisticated, fully automated systems with Poly carbonate sheet roofing (double walled), PAR lightings, boom irrigation, rolling benches and full scale computerized (fully automated) systems.

Sterling Arch provides Mist Chambers of international standards which are widely used for cloning of forest species including medicinal plants and for growth and development of different types of vegetative plant organs as well as seed. Mist chambers are suitable for maintaining ambient humidity and temperature that helps in rooting of cuttings of Eucalyptus, Casuarine, Bamboos and all medicinal plants species and hardening of Tissue-Cultured plants.

Features

§  Environmental parameters i.e. light, temperature and humidity is regulated in mist chambers with high precision accuracy by control panel.

§  Relative Humidity is maintained artificially at high level with the help of mist installations. These chambers are provided with pneumatic atomizing nozzles for misting which helps in reducing the loss of plant moisture .

§  Large number of plants can be made available with this facility to meet the targets of regeneration of the forest area can be achieved year around within the scheduled time

§  Planting material scores high on quality parameters as the seedlings in our specially designed Mist Chamber are devoid of any susceptibility to pathogen, insect and pests attack.
